Classroom Technology Requirements

Why should you use 3ALI instead of other language institutes? Our technology! At 3ALI we have the technology to bring multiple live classrooms from around the globe together simultaneously through high quality audio and video. Multiple classrooms can not only see the instructor, but each other as well on large flat screen televisions. These televison screens are split into several view patterns. The most common view that is used is a 4 screen or 6 screen split. The view is voice-triggered, so if a student has a question, the screen layout on the television in the instructors room changes to show a close-up of their campus. This allows the instructor to see the student better and have a personal connection.

During a class the instructor will have a camera on themselves. At the same time, the instructor can connect their labtop and project their screen to the distance classroom. Each classroom also has a document camera, which allows the instructor to show a paper or textbook to the students. It can also be used to project any illistrations or notes the instructor wants to show. In addition to having everything visible from the instructor’s classroom, the distance classrooms can see each other allowing for group projects and conversation between the classrooms. While the instructor isnt physically in the classroom, our technology allows them to control every facet of the class which gives the highest quality instruction to the students.
